Unfortunately, your pictures come through much too dark for us to be able to determine if the serial number was removed from your gun or if it was never stamped. "There is no way to determine the manufacturing date for a Model 1886 without a serial number. I e-mailed the Cody Firearms Museum and this is what they said: I don't know how old it is, that is why I was trying to find the serial number. Too late.already shot it.but I knew it was black powder
